CETIN CETINTAS
He received various trainings on yoga and meditation in different monasteries in China, Tibet, India, Burma and Thailand for many years. He learned Sanskrit in India and studied ancient yoga scriptures. In 2011, he attended the training of the Dalai Lama in Dharamshala, India. He then lived as a monk in the Pa-Auk Forest Monastery in Myanmar and during this period worked on various sutras in the Pali language. Çetin Çetintaş, who knows 5 languages including Sanskrit, translated many ancient scriptures from his mother tongue into Turkish. In 2016, he published the yoga book “Finding Hanuman”. In 2017, he wrote the book “Yoga Sutras – A Yoginin El Kitabı” which included the Yoga Sutras he translated from Sanskrit into Turkish.
He frequently gives yoga and meditation instructor courses, workshops and retreats in Turkey and abroad, trying to shed light on the paths of yoga practitioners to go deeper in yoga; not physically but also spiritually. Çetin Çetintaş says: “The doors that open to the truth are not outside, not in anyone, not in anything. The door is the person himself. A person sees everything but does not see himself. I am a humble mirror in front of you, holding you to yourself.”
