How did TRX start?
It all started with Randy Hetrick, a Stanford MBA graduate who served in the US Navy, and his desire to be fit.
Randy, who constantly changes locations due to his job and is in areas that would be considered impossible for exercise, started doing body weight exercises using his belt in order to maintain his form. He probably could not have guessed that his belt, which had extremely limited exercise efficiency, would later become the inspiration for TRX Suspension Training, which would eliminate all boundaries and break new ground in the world of fitness.
