An old Turkish tradition and considered the most prestigious gift of weddings, Beşibiryerde (a type of necklace with 5 large gold coins hanging on a red ribbon) has been transformed into a spiritual jewelry with air, water, fire, earth and finally the 5th element, the soul. In this necklace, where different crystal and natural stone beads are strung; the symbols of the 4 elements are used on raw copper coins, while a hand-forged copper-framed mirror reflecting the soul is used to represent the 5th element. It is said that the entire universe was created with four elements and the combination of these elements.
