I am a yoga instructor living in Istanbul.
I worked as an event manager for many years. Due to the nature of the marketing industry, I always planned, questioned and curiously researched what was new.
Yogazero.com was not created by planning, but by going with the flow. It emerged in line with my own yoga equipment needs and searches. I gathered all the equipment that keeps me comfortable in yoga and I am sharing it with you on this site.
I attended my first yoga class in 2004, and I occasionally attended yoga classes at gyms for years. I started running in 2011. When I increased the distances I ran, yoga came back into my life, and this time it was permanent.
As the distances I ran increased, I discovered that yoga provided serious benefits to me mentally and physically, and I increased my yoga practice.
In order to learn more about yoga, I took the 200-hour Basic Yoga teacher training from Cihangir Yoga, Chris Chavez in 2015. When I started the training, I did not have the dream of becoming a yoga teacher, my intention was to learn more about yoga, which is my hobby.
After the training, I immediately started giving lessons to share my knowledge and improve my own practice.
In February 2016, I founded YogaZero.
By completing the Feet Up trainer training in Berlin in November 2017, I became the first and only Feet Up trainer in Turkey.
I completed 300-hour “advanced yoga teacher training” with Dylan Werner in July 2018. I completed my second 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training at Cihangir Yoga in September 2019.
Due to my constantly learning, traveling and adventurous nature, I participate in domestic and international yoga camps, trainings and festivals, and I share my experiences in the yoga classes I teach.
I believe that we, all living things, are part of a whole and that we support each other.
